The Sky

Wonder and light,
Red brick,
Closed eyes,
A moment in breath.

My name is Love,
She comes say hi,
To remind me most,
Of what is important.

Listen.
Stay still.
Do you hear it?
Do you feel it?

Glory and rapture,
Expanse in time,
The heart sighs,
Grateful for the reprieve.

Grief is a fickle thing,
Beautiful and delicate,
Rarely seeing the light,
Hidden away rather than witnessed.

A twitch,
A second more,
A feeling,
A thought.

The snow falls today,
Just as precious as yesterday morning,
Silent,
Watching.

Are you seeing what I see?
Everyday light,
Gliding,
Back to Earth.

I wonder what lessons are there to be learned, looking at the sky.
